What our team says about working here

FAQs ...

How do we work?

We pair each of our clients up with a Lead VA. These VA’s have core skills in communication, administration and project management and work directly with their client. They also manage projects within the team to ensure our clients have the best skillset for each task, and that each output goes through our quality control process.

What do our clients expect from their VA?

Our clients expect us to deliver high quality, error-free work where we go above and beyond to meet their goals. Rather than simply being task-tickers, they expect us to take the extra step to add value and think outside the box, complementing their skillset with our own.

What do we expect from our clients?

We ask for respect, clarity and good communication from our clients. We onboard clients just as you’re being onboarded to ensure they meet our standard and share our values, so together we can grow their business.

Our Project Management system

We use ClickUp to manage our client projects, track time and communicate within the team.

How many hours a week will I work?

You set your own hours! While we do ask for business hours availability we have VA’s working anywhere between 30 hours and 160 hours per month.

How much do I get paid?

We have different hourly rates depending on how long you’ve been with us and the role you’re working in.  Our application process explains our rates in more detail.

How will I be paid?

You will be paid monthly on the 5th of each month for the previous month’s time tracked.

Am I considered self-employed?

Yes, you are and as such you are responsible for paying your own taxes.  Here are some helpful links:

When will I start working?

That depends on new clients we take on being a match for your skillset.

Initially, you’ll be asked to work with us for a month on ad-hoc projects under one of our lead VAs before we pair you with your own clients.

What do I need to be a successful applicant?

A good communicator with the right ethics and mindset to fit into our fun-loving, supportive team.

Do you train your team?

We ask our contractors to upskill in their own time, so clients are paying for time-on-task only not training. We do purchase training courses which are free for anyone looking to upskill.

How well does the team collaborate?

We are a tight-knit, supportive team who enjoy a giggle and have each other’s backs.  We use Slack to communicate internally and have an approachable, collaborative culture.

Will I hear from you if I am not successful?

Definitely. Once you’ve completed the tests, we’ll follow up by email to let you know if you’ve been successful and if not, why.

Is the work 100% remote?

Yes, though there are a couple of exceptions to the rule. We’ve occasionally visited clients for in-house training, helped with events or caught up with a client for coffee.
